Aka Manah is an ancient demon from Zoroastrianism who governs over sensual desire. Think of him as a proto-Asmodeus, but with extra homocidal tendency.
Matt Wright.

Aka Manah is the demon of sensual desire that was sent by Ahriman to seduce the prophet Zoroaster. His eternal opponent is Vohu Manah. The name is of the Avestan language for the Zoroastrian Daeva "Evil Mind", "Evil Purpose", "Evil Thinking", or "Evil Intention".

Overview

Aka Manah is also known by his epithets as The Third of the Nine, and the Demon of Wicked Mind; making people think that he is the third demon born out of the nine whom are the sons of Satan. Born out of the darkness to corrupt all those he possesses. However, he cannot survive in the normal world even in his incorporeal form due to the life force of whoever he is possessing being too thin.

Appearance

Personality

Aka Manah is described at times to be a "true" son of the Devil due to being regarded as the most violent demon to ever be born and roam the depths of Hell. Cruel and controlling, obsessed with power and destruction, Aka Manah is a hateful but self-loving being who wishes only death upon those other than him (and the human he controls). He is also extraordinarily intelligent with a vast knowledge of most things, especially sorcery.

Powers and Abilities

History

The demon traps Rostam while the hero is asleep, and carries him up into the sky. He then asks Rostam whether he would prefer to be thrown upon a mountain, or into the sea. Rostam, aware that the demon's mind is perverse, asks to be thrown upon a mountain, and the demon in response throws him into the sea. Rescuing himself from the waters, Rostam recovers his horse and confronts the demon again, subsequently beheading it.
