The Angelic Writings are an uncountable collection of records and information held by Angels such as the Malakhs and Seraphims, the angels who study the cosmos and universe in question.
Overview[]
Just as human beings have their theories about the universe, so do angels have theirs. The bookstore is within a parallel dimension of unknown size that holds more books, documents and records than all the books on Planet Earth, having virtually no end for a human observer.
As mentioned by Cassiel, this is not surprising, given the fact that it contains information from before the Universe itself was born, although most of it is theory and speculation. However, Cassiel claims that the theories of any Malakh have more study and research than any theory on Earth in 100 years. After Cassiel merged with Enuma, he received from them a great deal of knowledge about Creation in its preexisting state, prior to the "Let There Be Light" event, which allowed him to add a great deal of information to the Library of Angels.
Description[]
The size of the dimension is unknown, however, it has a sky, a sun and a moon and even stars, which results in it having a diurnal cycle, resulting in beautiful nights and refreshing and enjoyable days.
When Cassiel took Carl Black into the dimension, they said it looked like Earth, but with a much purer atmosphere and caused a sense of peace and tranquility, something Cassiel said was no wonder, as there is no pollution in the City of Books and, because the dimension is in Heaven, they are much closer to the Presence of God than on Earth, and so they feel at peace and tranquil.
The most notable feature of the City of Books is clearly the presence of an innumerable amount of books and records in the Enochian language, the amount of books erected one on top of the other results in large structures that are just books, giving the impression of being buildings made of books, which is why it is called the City of Books.

Although it is mostly used by angels of the Malakh and Seraphim hierarchy, some other angels involved with wisdom also go to this great Library to get information or research about the Cosmos.

- Azazel was banned from entering the Library after his fall. Even after being accepted again by God, for reasons of avoiding confusion among the angels (since not all of them willingly accepted the forgiveness of the fallen angels) they are not allowed to enter the Library, only in emergency cases.
