Baihu is the White tiger of the Four Auspicious Beasts, representing the west.
Overview[]
Baihu is a deity venerated in Chinese folklore, his influence is seen across a majority of Asian cultures and religions. Despite Baihu being the most recognizable of the Guardian Beasts, he is but one of the Four other deities that make up their ranks. Like the other Guardian Beasts Baihu represents a portion of the Yin-Yang, with his portion being the 'young Yin'.
Baihu stands as the ruler of beasts, with every beast holding him in reverence.
Appearance[]
Baihu's appearance is that of a white Bengal tiger, however its much larger than the average tiger and often seen with wispy blue flames coating its body.
Baihu is able to call upon a human form if it so chooses, however he rarely goes into it preferring to stay in its bestial form.
Personality[]
Sitting upon the food chain Baihu is the essential ruler of predators and prey, overseeing the Universe's ecosystems. Baihu usually remains unseen like the other Guardian Beasts only coming out when something threatens the ever flowing duality of the world. However when Baihu fights its ravenous and brutal, using its immense strength to take down aggressors.

History[]
After Huanglong hatched from the Cosmic egg and chiseled the universe Huanglong created Baihu and the other Guardian beasts from the shell of the Cosmic egg it hatched from. Baihu was created to oversee the duality of beasts, specifically in the way they hunt and keeping the food chain stable.
On earth Baihu used Tigers as his eyes and ears, them essentially being avatars of Baihu.
