I ain't feeling remorse shit 'bout killing that bastard brother of mine. There was no "devil's whisper" bullshit there. It was a life or death situation. If I didn't kill him, he'd be bludging my head wide open in a few seconds.
Cain.

Cain is the older twin brother of Abel, and the son of the first man Adam and the first woman Eve and the founder of the City of Enoch.

Overview[]

Cain is the first child of Adam and Eve, being the twin brother of Abel. Cain is most commonly known for having murdered his younger brother Abel, being known as the First Killer or First Sinner.

Cain was cursed by God for having killed his brother, being condemned to live forever, and never die, regardless of how much he wished to die. Cain's curse is due to his mark, which looks like a tattoo, known as the Mark of Cain.

The mark was given to Cain after he murdered his brother, Abel. These actions have forever proliferated throughout creation, as not only was it considered the first murder, but it also gave Cain a mark that allowed for him to never die. Cain is often cited as the first sign of evil within humanity or even the first murder, though this is a false assumption.

History[]

Childhood[]

After Adam and Eve left the garden, the two ended up meeting each other, producing a son named Cain, and Abel, his twin brother. As the Garden of Eden had been made in a place far removed from human civilizations that existed at the time, Adam and Eve had to fend for themselves in the forest and fields. Consequently, Cain and Abel have had to work hard since they were little, needing to hunt for their food and sleep on cold nights, and work on hot days.

Cain and Abel were always wondering why they were born in such a horrible and chaotic world, and they were always asking that old question to Adam and Eve, which was where they - their parents - were born from, something that the two always changed the subject, until one day there was no more like dodging and Adam told the truth about his origins to his children, saying that he had been created by a being called God, who was his Father. Adam and Eve also told that they lived in a garden, a perfect paradise, but they were expelled for eating the forbidden fruit.

Fallen[]

Cain got annoyed with his parents and stormed out of the house, with Abel following after him. Abel ended up finding Cain in an open field, and approaching his brother, Abel suggested that he and his brother try to reach their "grandfather" again, and apologize to him and let them return to Eden. Cain accepted the idea and both made offerings to God. Abel offered a lamb to God, while Cain offered only plant food. Abel's sacrifice caught the attention of Yaldabaoth, who quickly consumed the burnt offering and the lamb, for animal blood sacrifices strengthened many pagan gods. Yaldabaoth, being at the time part of the Canaanite pantheon, also strengthened himself with sacrifices.

Yaldabaoth however, rejected Cain's offering, leaving Abel's twin brother frustrated because Abel was not only preferred by their parents but also by God. Abel and Yaldabaoth spent a few days talking, with Yaldabaoth demanding more sacrifices from Adam's son, asking him not to tell Adam of his presence yet. Cain continued insisting on giving sacrifices to God, but Yaldabaoth ended up rejecting him again because Abel was already his chosen one to be his new slave. Cain was frustrated to see that Abel was more loved by "God" than he was and fell to the ground in frustration. It was then that the true God appeared to Cain and told him that Abel was not talking to Him, but was talking to another deity.

When Adam's firstborn heard this, he ran to where Abel was and shouted at Yaldabaoth, saying that he already knew that he was a false God, and tried to warn his younger brother. However, Yaldabaoth said that Abel was already his slave, and explained to him that he needed a blood sacrifice, and for that, Yaldabaoth asked Abel to kill his brother and offer him as a sacrifice. Abel was blinded by Yaldabaoth's words, telling Cain to trust him because these were God's "mysterious plans". Then began a terrible battle between Abel and Cain, with in the end, Cain having no other option, picking up a stone from the ground and hitting Abel in the head. Yaldabaoth then said that the pact was consummated, for Cain ended up offering his brother's blood indirectly to him. So Abel didn't get his hands dirty, so he hadn't lost his salvation yet, but Cain had.

Yaldabaoth left the battlefield, and Cain fell in tears to the ground with Abel in his arms. In fear, Cain dropped Abel to the ground and ran into the forest. Later, God again met with Cain, who was crying for his brother's blood. God asked Cain why he was crying and where his brother was, and Cain replied that he had taken Abel's life, and was afraid of being killed by his family. God then said that he would mark Cain to protect him, preventing him from dying, and whoever hurt him would receive the damage seven times stronger in return.

Enoch the Great Beauty[]

After that, Cain ran away from his parents, and went to his wife Awan and warned her that the two had to get out of there. Cain and Awan then left and ended up meeting other human civilizations, discovering that they weren't the only humans. Cain then met Awan, his wife, and they had a son, who Cain named Enoch, and a city was founded in his honor.

At some point in the past, Cain heard that his brother Seth was coming to meet him. Cain imagined that Seth was coming to avenge Abel's death, and decided to go to meet his brother, hoping that if Seth killed him, he would definitely die, since he being killed by his own brother, he would be even with Abel in the eyes of God. However, Seth hadn't gone to try to kill Cain, but that didn't stop Cain from still wanting to be killed by his brother, begging Seth to kill him in the most brutal way imaginable for him to pay for the crime of murdering Abel.

Cain saw that Seth in the end did not want to kill him and went after Seth in an attempt to battle his brother and force him to kill him. However, Seth still managed through magic to overthrow his older brother, telling him that this cycle of brother against brother should end, so that the next generations would follow his example, with Seth forgiving Cain, and that Adam and Eve still love and forgive him. Such words from Seth calmed Cain's heart, who decided to give up trying to be killed by Seth and the two made peace.

Seth knew that Cain was not a murderer, as he had only defended himself, since thanks to his wife Norea, Seth discovered that Abel did not speak to God, but was being manipulated by an imposter who brainwashed Abel into trying to kill Cain.

Hell[]

Cain wandering the earth eventually encountered a owl woman, Tinshemet, telling her that he was looking for his master, Lucifer. Cain and Tinshemet eventually became lovers, and Tinshemet took Cain to Hell, where he made a deal with Lucifer to become a soldier of Hell. A few years later, Cain broke up with Tinshemet amicably.
