Trained warriors of God whose weapons are prayers and psalms... or at least, that is what they want you to believe.
Carl Black

Exorcists are Abrahamic followers who work within the spiritual sphere, expelling demons and dark spirits and even killing them.

Overview

Exorcists act similarly to hunters, their job is to hunt supernatural beings that threaten people and either exorcise or kill them with the Holy Swords created by the Church. Despite being formed only by humans, the angels usually support the exorcists through blessings such as power, health and vigor to be able to do well in battles against demons.

Some exorcists due to their great devotion and faith in God receive missions coming directly from Saint Michael, with some gaining the ability to become Saints or even Angels, being able to even evolve their hierarchy.

Description

Although the branch of exorcists only grew after the beginning of the Christian era, it is believed that King David and Solomon could not only expel but control demons and, through some psalms it was possible to exorcise demons and even pagan gods, such as the famous Psalm 91. In fact, one of the reasons many people believed that Jesus was the Messiah is that only a descendant of David and Solomon would have enough power and authority to cast out demons.

Most male exorcists generally wear priestly or casual clothes, while females like to dress in their nun attire. However, there are outfits that exorcists can wear that are made specifically for battle, specifically for females, as their holy attire can get in the way during battle.

Texts

The texts used by exorcists to torture and cast demons out of people. It should generally be read in Latin. When used, they invoke the Pure and Holy Presence of God in an infinitesimal fraction, which is enough to cause the demon terrible pain to the point where the demon prefers death. Some texts are longer due to the power of the demon, while others are shorter for a quick exorcism of a casual demon.

History

After the Messiah's ascension to Heaven, several sacred elements came to serve as weapons for Christians to defend themselves from powerful demons and demonic hosts, including Satan himself. These elements were the sacred objects, such as the Holy Bible, Crucifixes and Holy Water, however, the most important is always the Bible, as it is in it that the Word of God and the texts written by David and Solomon can be found Devils. Several Christians then began to hunt demons and other evil spirit entities that were a threat to mankind.
