Khnum was the Egyptian god who presided over the Nile-river.
Overview
He is the great potter who create children and their soul from the clay of the Nile. He is also the guardian of Hapi's caverns, the god of the inundation of the Nile.
He was said to be the consort of the gods Heqet, Satis, Mehet-Weret, Menhit, Nebtu, and Neith, and the father of the gods Heka, Serket, Anuket, and Sobek.
