This thing is proof that if humanity wants to, it can turn even the devil into a cute and docile creature. Once a demon of the night, devourer of children, terror on all sides. Now, fluffy rabbit a few centimeters tall that lays magic eggs.

Lepus, also known as the Easter Bunny, is one of the figures of the world holiday known as Easter. He is a Tulpa, having been created by the collective unconscious of Humanity.

Overview[]

Lepus was a powerful and demonic creature, worshiped as a devouring and destroying demon in the ancient past, tens of thousands of years before the Christian era. Their rituals were offerings of children, eggs, rabbits and hares, all of which represented fertility. In exchange for sacrifices, he returned blessing the crops and making fertility plentiful. He was known to put a lot of fear in people, being seen as humanity's own antagonist and a force of evil and nature.

However, in reality, Lepus was just a Tulpa, personifying perhaps the deepest and cruelest side of parties and celebrations, with time being molded into a creature of darkness and malice in humanoid form with rabbit and hare characteristics. After the beginning of the Christian era, it was when everything changed for Lepus, Easter, which was originally a Jewish commemorative feast, began to be celebrated by many people, with eggs and rabbits being seen as blessings and even luck.

Furthermore, as time passed, humanity abandoned any kind of ritualistic sacrifice of living beings, with Lepus little by little losing its power. After a long time, Lepus stopped being a powerful demon, becoming a fluffy and friendly rabbit that lays magic eggs, known as Easter Eggs. Showing how humanity's view of him has changed. Fortunately for Lepus, he had a better fate than other tulpas and gods who were demonized by the Church.

I heard a joke once...
A man went to the doctor one day
He said, "Doc, I, I don't know what to do
I don't know who to talk to, I'm completely depressed
I don't know what to do with my life, it's full of uncertainty
I wake up every day until
I just, I can't see a light at the end of the tunnel"
And the doctor said, "Well, it's great that you came in today of all days
Because the Great Clown Pagliacci is in town
And he has a show tonight and nobody ever goes to his
His live performance and doesn't leave
You know, completely full of life"
And the man burst into tears and the doctor said
"Well, what's wrong?" And he said
"Doctor, I am the Great Clown Pagliacci"
Good joke. Everybody laughed.
Lepus about the downside of making others happy.
If the Easter Bunny really exists, I'm going to be terribly pissed off because it doesn't make any sense for a rabbit to randomly give gifts to children, let alone lay chocolate eggs.
