The True Archangels are the highest rank of Angels who are the closest to God's magnificent light.

Overview

The True Archangels are the first angelic beings to be created by God. They are known as Heaven’s most fearsome wrath and the strongest angels. They receive the same honor from humans as the pagan gods. As the angels who stand before God Himself, they are called the "Rav-Malakhim" or "Malakhim-Panav”. Unlike most other angels, the True Archangels can directly contact the human world. Because of that, they are responsible for delivering messages from God to mankind. The most famous True Archangels, Michael and Gabriel, appear in the Bible. However, only Michael was called an Archangel.

Michael and Lucifer were created first, with Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel in two. After the first five, many more True Archangels were created, with Sandalphon, Azrael, Raguel, Anael, Camael, Jophiel, Zadkiel, and Barachiel being the most famous. They treated each other as siblings and often interacted with God.

The True Archangels are known as the primordial angels as they were created before all other angels. They are endowed with incalculable power, holy light, and immense strength surpassing the likes of most beings in creation, including demons, deities, and all the other angels. They are described as Zariel and another angel as fierce and absolute and the only angels to have personally seen God.

According to the primordial deities, the first true archangels to ever created (like Helel/Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel) known as the primordial true archangels, are at least equal or rival many of the lesser Outer Gods in power, so much that they managed to battle and destroy some them along with their Arcuthas brethren, that they strike fear and light in the hearts of their enemies at the time, and even at least rivals some of the primordial deities and cosmic entities, that they we're known and feared across creation.

Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Lucifer, and Uriel are the most well known among the True Archangels as well as the most powerful. In the aftermath of the War in Heaven, the Seven Archangels, which consisted of Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Jophiel, Camael, and Zadkiel, were formed with the purpose of countering the Seven Princes of Hell.

History

The True Archangels were created some time after the Primeval Wars with the purpose of replacing the Arcuthas, who were corrupted by Therion. Then, God finally began to create the Megaverse and tasked the True Archangels and Primordials to protect it alongside him.

When the Great Old Ones made themselves known, God tasked the True Archangels with destroying them. Although the True Archangels successfully destroyed some of them, many turned out to be nothingness itself and therefore are unable to be destroyed. Therefore, the True Archangels imprisoned them. In the aftermath of their battles against the Great Old Ones, the True Archangels commanded the deities to watch over the Great Old Ones’ prisons to ensure that they would not rise again while they repair the damage caused by their battles against the eldritch beings.

Trivia

• The True Archangels, more or less, are similar to the Aeons of Gnosticism. Aeons are emanations or concepts that fragment themselves from the Singularity of the Bythos after eternities of contemplation/silence.
• There is a theory that all True Archangels in reality were once one Angel, and that the fusion of all of them would result in the one true Archangel, also known as The Child of God.
  • The Yahoel merger seems to confirm this theory.
• As he did with all the Angels, Lucifer renamed the caste of the True Archangels, giving them the name Luciferiel, obviously in his own honor as he was the only True Archangel to rebel against God (Satanel does not count because no one knows his real caste).
