As Neanderthals are to human beings, the Turok-Han are to vampires. They're primordial, ferociously powerful killing machines, as single-minded as animals. They are the vampires that vampires fear. An ancient and entirely different race.

The Turok-Han are a species of vampire that lurk about in the darkness of the world. Humans and even other vampires consider them to be so monstrous that they almost appear to be separate from regular vampires. They seem to be an evolved species of vampire. Turok-Hans are quite feral and are solely fixated on their instinct to hunt and drain blood from humans. Their origin is unknown but it is believed that these vampires evolved into what they are now when they spent the majority of their life time underground.

Their skin is completely pale, with their sternum and rib cages visible beneath the skin, they each have two fingers and one thumb armed with razor sharp claws, two toes, they lack any hair, eyes, and they all possess two inch long fangs, with smaller ones underneath, and are capable of injecting a neuro-toxin to paralyze their victims as they feed. Their strength is so great as such, that they are described as being much stronger then regular vampires, and can eviscerate a group of adult humans in a matter of seconds. Their speed is phenomenal, where they are capable of running faster then the finest human athlete or even a Cheetah.

Even though they are evolved, they by no means are invulnerable to the natural weaknesses of a vampire. They can still be affected by silver, stake, holy water, and the cross. Normal vampires would go so far as to call them the animals of the vampire world.

While they seem feral, they do possess little intelligence and are capable of communicating with one another and even making strategies like a pack of wolves or lions. While the Turok-Hans and regular vampires have a mutual dislike and animosity towards one another, a regular vampire can use them as pets or attack dogs.
